Italy!
Getting Here
It's most convenient to fly to Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (FCO) in Rome. We'll be providing a bus from Rome to La Badia on the afternoon of October 22, probably around 1pm. There are also convenient trains from both the airport (FCO) and central Rome (Termini), and there's always the option of renting a car.
Where To Stay
We have reserved La Badia and its sister property just up the road for our guests for the three days of the wedding. Rooms will cost around 250 euro per night, including breakfast each morning. We will be arranging transport in between the two properties. You do not need to make your own reservation. Once we have a clear idea of who is coming and in what groupings, we'll let you know where you'll stay.
Update, August 17
We are delighted that so many of you are coming! In fact, the early count says we'll probably have more people than just the two properties can accommodate, which means we're working on a new plan to make sure everyone has somewhere to stay. Some of you have told us you prefer to make your own arrangments, which is perfectly fine, but if you'd still like us to arrange a place for you to stay, we will! To make it easy, we'll reach out to you to get your preference when you receive your formal RSVP card. As far as getting from where you're staying to La Badia goes, we'll have at least one shuttle van to go to and from the various lodgings. Taxis are an option, too.

Getting Home
We'll also provide a bus from La Badia to Rome on Saturday after brunch. Most flights from Rome to the States take off early in the morning, so we assume most people will fly home Sunday. If you'd like to leave Saturday and need advice on transportation, we'll be happy to help.
